Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and Carroll Counties.

Grand River near Brunswick affecting Chariton and Carroll Counties.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Grand River near Sumner.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage begins to flood. At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is flooded. At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water. At 37.0 feet, State Highway 139 floods a half mile east of Sumner.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 36.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning and continue falling to 19.1 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
