At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent lightning. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 nm west of Ludington Light to 24 nm west of St. Joseph Light, moving east at 40 knots. Observations across southern Wisconson have shown winds to 40 knots. If confidence in winds over 34 knots grows a Special Marine Warning may be needed.
