Northwestern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... North Central Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia... Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...

* At 833 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Parkersburg, Belpre, Vienna, Williamstown, Boaz, Mineralwells, Lubeck, Washington, North Hills, Cairo, Waverly, Davisville, Walker, Willow Island, Freeport, Blennerhassett, Petroleum, Schultz and Fleming.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 170 and 186. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 32.
