Red Flag Warning

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 9 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

* AFFECTED AREA...In California...Fire weather zone 280, and in Oregon, Fire weather zone 616 and 617. This includes Roseburg, Toketee Falls, Elkton, Tiller, Happy Camp, Etna, and Fort Jones.

* WIND...West to northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Minimum humidity 10 to 15 percent

* ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...Increasingly unstable conditions could further increase fire activity.
