* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Minnesota, including the following counties, Clearwater, Mahnomen, Norman and Polk.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fosston, McIntosh, Island Lake in Mahnomen County, Winger, Maple Bay, Bejou, Lengby, Rindal, Ebro, Ranum, northwestern White Earth Nation and Weme.
