* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Anson County in central North Carolina... South Central Montgomery County in central North Carolina... Richmond County in central North Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockingham, Wadesboro, Hamlet, Ansonville, Polkton, Ellerbe, Dobbins Heights, Lilesville, Morven, Peachland, McFarlan, Blewett Falls Lake, Diggs, Covington, East Rockingham and White Store. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
