Flash Flood Warning

At 652 PM MDT, Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the Upper Escalante River as well as North Creek, Birch Creek, Wide Hollow, and Death Hollow. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Heavy rainfall from thunderstorms producing life- threatening flash flooding in the Upper Escalante River.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, and backcountry roads.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... The Upper Escalante River, North Creek, Birch Creek, Wide Hollow, and Death Hollow with flows anticipated to move downstream through the Upper Escalante River Canyon.
