Lakeshore Flood Warning

* WHAT...Minor lakeshore flooding.

* WHERE...Lake Ontario shore of Oswego and Jefferson counties. Elevated water levels are also possible along the upper Saint Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands region.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...The combination of high lake levels and significant wave action will result in minor lakeshore flooding along the immediate lakeshore, especially in bays, inlets, harbors, and other low lying areas along the shoreline. Shoreline erosion is also expected.
