Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Gillespie and Kerr.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 230 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Comfort, Ingram, Tivydale, Harper, Kerrville-Schreiner Park, Cypress Creek, Center Point, Doss, Camp Verde and Cherry Spring. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
