At 445 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tooele Army Depot, or 9 miles southwest of Tooele, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... West Valley City, Tooele, West Jordan, Taylorsville, South Jordan, Draper, Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale, Ophir, Kearns, Tooele Army Depot, Magna, Bingham Canyon Mine, Oquirrh, Camp Williams, Tooele Army Depot South, Stockton, Rush Valley, and Copperton.
This includes Interstate 15 between mile markers 288 and 290.
