* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 to 35 mph. For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Wind prone areas along I-580, US-395, and the eastern slopes of the Carson Range may gust up to 55 to 65 mph.

* WHERE...For the Lake Wind Advisory, Washoe Lake. For the Wind Advisory, the Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area.

* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 8 PM PDT this evening. For the Wind Advisory, from 11 AM Saturday to 2 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will increase Saturday morning and afternoon, with the strongest winds expected Saturday evening. Winds will very slowly decrease late Saturday night into early Sunday morning behind the cold front.
