At 901 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that produced heavy rain on locales just north to northeast of the city of Douglas has diminished in intensity. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Only light additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Douglas, Bisbee-Douglas Airport and Pirtleville.
This includes the following highways... Route 80 between mile markers 366 and 385. Route 191 between mile markers 1 and 18.
This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Bend Creek, Leslie Creek, Danger Wash, Silver Creek and Whitewater Draw.
