The following message is transmitted at the request of the Office of Emergency Management.

Flash flooding is occurring across northern Day County with water over the roadways. Highways 27 and 33 are closed north of Highway 12 and power outages have been reported.

Turn around, don't drown. Do not drive across flooded roads. Water may be deeper than it appears.
