At 905 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated the heaviest rainfall beginning to move out of the area. Steady rain continues with rain rates up to 1 inch per hour. Multiple areas received rainfall up to 2 inches across the area, with multiple reports of street flooding received. Rapid rises along multiple creeks are possible over the next few hours.

This includes Thorn Creek in southern Cook County and Hart Ditch in northern Lake County.
