At 510 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Yosemite National, or 8 miles north of Yosemite South Entrance, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National, Little Yosemite Valley Campground, Badger Pass Ranger Station, Morraine Dome Campground, Camp 4 Campground, North Pines Campground, Yosemite Glacier Point, Ostrander Lake, Bridalveil Creek Campground, Little Yosemite Valley Ranger Station, Yosemite Valley Vistor Center, Lower Pines Campground, and Upper Pines Campground.
