The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for... Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 NM... Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 400 AM EDT.

* At 254 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Bayport to 35 nm southwest of Cedar Key to 50 nm southeast of S Tower, moving south at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include... Ozello, Crystal River, Hernando Beach, Anclote Key, Port Richey, Bayport, Tarpon Springs, Yankeetown, Cedar Key, and Aripeka.
