White River near Centerton.

White River at Elliston.

White River at Spencer.

.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to minor to major flooding along the White River near Nora, Ravenswood, Noblesville, Anderson, Eagle Valley Power Plant, Muncie, Centerton, and Elliston. Flooding will persist into early next week in some locations.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Noblesville.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding becomes more serious in the Riverwood, Clare, and Trails End areas. Flooding of basements occurs with water possibly extending to the first floor. State Road 19 begins to flood. Many local roads in these areas are impassable and some evacuations are necessary.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:45 AM EDT Friday was 17.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1 feet tomorrow morning.
