Flash Flood Warning

At 625 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has ended across the warned area including the Carrizo and Corduroy Creek drainages. Between 0.75 and 1.75 inches of rain fell earlier this evening. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Carrizo.

This includes the following highways... Highway 60 between mile markers 313 and 322. State Route 73 between mile markers 311 and 315.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Carrizo Creek, Corduroy Creek and Turkey Canyon.
