* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce visibility to less than one nautical mile. For the Gale Warning, north winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 9 to 14 ft expected.
* WHERE...Upper Entrance of Portage Canal to Eagle River MI, Eagle River to Manitou Island MI and Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border.
* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM EST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 4 AM to 10 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility will make navigation difficult.
