Gila River Near Gila River at Calva affecting Graham County.
For the Upper Gila...including Gila River at Calva...elevated river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...The Gila River is expected to exceed bankfull levels at 15 feet Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening with a secondary crest possible late this week due to excessive rainfall that occurred in previous days.
* WHERE...Gila River near Gila River at Calva.
* WHEN...From this evening to Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Low-lying riparian areas flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM MST Wednesday the stage was 6.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a maximum value of 18.5 feet tomorrow afternoon. - Action stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
