...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Florida...
Shoal River Near Crestview affecting Okaloosa County.
For the Shoal River...including Crestview...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Shoal River near Crestview.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Some flooding of trailers north of the Okaloosa Correctional Institute. Water surrounds home on Sowel Road. At 11.0 feet, Flooding becomes a threat to the Trevor Court and Rattlesnake Bluff areas. At 12.0 feet, Residential areas on the south bank of river near Crestview become isolated. Rattlesnake Bluff Road closed. At 13.0 feet, Homes on south bank of river begin to flood near Crestview. At 14.0 feet, Residential flooding in the Trevor Court area. At 15.0 feet, Water in Trevor Court. Some homes in Rattle Snake Bluff become flooded. At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding of low lying areas. At 8.5 feet, Water in yards on Sowel Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
