At 639 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Peter to 9 miles east of Great Salt Lake South of the Causeway. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Ogden, Layton, Logan, Brigham City, Tremonton, Hill Air Force Base, Cache, Roy, Clearfield, Syracuse, Clinton, North Ogden, South Ogden, Smithfield, Washington Terrace, Riverdale, Hyrum, Hooper, South Weber, and Perry.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 331 and 379. Interstate 84 between mile markers 42 and 97. US Route 89 between mile markers 459 and 488.
