At 223 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Romeroville, or 8 miles south of Las Vegas, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Las Vegas, Romeroville, Tecolote, Storrie Lake State Park, San Agustin, Los Montoyas and Ojitos Frios.
This includes the following highways... State Road 518 between Mile Markers 1 and 4. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 333 and 352. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
