At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Cogdell, or 8 miles south of Pearson, moving southwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Atkinson and northwestern Clinch Counties.
