At 943 AM CDT, The immediate heavy rain threat has ended. However 2 day rainfall totals - particularly in central Posey County are approaching 5 inches. Spotters report areas of flash flooding in the county and these waters will likely be slow to recede.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
