Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of the Panhandle of Texas, including the following counties, Armstrong, Carson, Potter and Randall.

* WHEN...Until 345 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1244 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, Bushland, Palo Duro Canyon, Umbarger and Timbercreek Canyon. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
