Extreme Heat Watch

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 94 degrees and Wet Bulb Globe Temperatures up to 85 degrees expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 99 degrees and Wet Bulb Globe Temperatures up to 87 degrees possible.

* WHERE...Ashland and Sawyer Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. Other locations including Madeline Island.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Saturday. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
