The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southeastern North Carolina.
Please send your reports of hail or wind damage, including trees or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office in Wilmington at 1 800 697 3901. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for New Hanover county and southeastern Pender county.
