* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Yavapai County in west central Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 200 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1105 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Agua Fria River, Coyote Wash, Racetrack Wash, Yarber Wash, Chaparral Gulch, Ash Creek, Cienega Creek, Lynx Creek, Big Bug Creek, Brushy Wash, Cherry Creek, Oak Wash, Osborne Spring Wash, Little Hackberry Wash and Hackberry Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Mountainview Park. - This includes the following highways... State Route 69 between mile markers 279 and 286.
