At 315 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 7 nm northeast of Golden Meadow, or 13 nm west of Barataria Bay, moving southwest at 10 knots.
