The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for... Waters from South Santee River SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...

* Until 1015 AM EDT.

* At 809 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line from over Bull Breakers to near Channel Buoy 5, moving southeast at 5 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include... Lowcountry Anglers, Kiawah Reef, N. Edisto Nearshore Reef, Edisto Sixty Reef, Deveaux Bank, Charleston Harbor Entrance, Air Force Reef, Charleston Nearshore Reef, Charleston Sixty, Joe Shuford Reef, Charleston Coastal Anglers, Edisto Forty Reef, Rattlesnake Shoal, Capers Island Buoy and Capers Reef.
