Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 943 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Newton Hills State Park to near Hudson to near Craig, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Public. At At 930 PM CDT, a 60 mph wind gust was reported 10 miles south-southeast of Alcester.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include... Ireton, Hudson, Maurice, Craig, Struble, Fairview, Newton Hills State Park, Sioux Center, Rock Valley, Orange City, Hull and Doon.
