Special Weather Statement

At 1206 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Dameron Valley to near Hurricane. Movement was north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Zion National Park, Washington, Hurricane, La Verkin, New Harmony, Dameron Valley, Quail Creek State Park, Ivins, Enterprise, Toquerville, Leeds, Virgin, Kanarraville, Pintura, Pinto, Pine Valley, Veyo, Snow Canyon State Park, and Kolob Canyon.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 16 and 47. Utah Route 18 between mile markers 8 and 44.
