Nuisance flooding along Lawsons Fork Creek may linger for the next few hours, as the creek at Lake Forest Drive is over bankfull. The river is cresting and should fall below action stage later this morning.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT Sunday for portions of northeast Georgia, western North Carolina, and Upstate South Carolina.
