The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for... Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to South Haven MI...

* Until 145 AM EDT.

* At 1210 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 9 nm southwest of South Haven Light, moving east at 20 knots. Additional strong thunderstorms were located at mid lake, roughly 40 miles west of the South Haven Light. These storms were also moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.
