The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Fire Warning at the request of Stephens County Emergency Management for eastern Stephens County until at least 345 PM CDT.

* AT 141 PM CDT, a dangerous wildfire was located near Velma, moving rapidly east-northeast at 1 to 2 mph.

* Areas impacted... Velma

* Additional Information...Smoke and fire will present a threat to life and property. Evacuations are ongoing in Velma.
