* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Phelps County in east central Missouri... Dent County in south central Missouri...
* Until 600 AM CDT Friday.
* At 1149 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Salem, Howes, Bangert, Lake Spring, Anutt, Sligo, Lecoma, Lenox, Stone Hill, Howes Mill and Boss.
This includes the following low water crossings... Crooked Creek at Highway TT, Little Piney Creek at Highway H, Meramec River at Spur Road, Norman Creek at County Road 4220 and Dry Fork Creek at County Road 2430.
