At 601 PM EDT, Doppler Radar detected a cluster of thunderstorms over Chatham and Bryan Counties, mainly between Hunter Army Airfield and the Ogeechee River, drifting to the Southwest. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Emergency Management reports several flooded and closed roads across the Savannah area. The heaviest rainfall rates has shifted between Richmond Hill and Vernonburg, roadway flooding is likely.
