* WHAT...High surf expected. Water levels 3 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line for Nome and 3 to 5 feet above the normal high tide line for Golovin, peaking during each high tide.

* WHERE...Southern Seward Peninsula Coast.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 10 PM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will steadily ramp up Wednesday into Thursday, remain strong through Friday, then gradually weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and Friday, with gusts around 40 to 50 mph expected.
