The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Uvalde County in south central Texas...

* Until midnight CDT tonight.

* At 351 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring with numerous roads underwater and multiple water rescues reported.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Uvalde, Sabinal, Concan, Knippa, Reagan Wells, Garner State Park, Uvalde Estates, Laguna, Montell, Utopia, Cline and Blewett.
