At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain fell across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.

HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Chicago, Cicero, Evanston, Schaumburg, Skokie, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Glenview, Elmhurst, Lombard, Bartlett, Ohare Airport, Streamwood, Carol Stream, Hanover Park, Park Ridge and Addison.
