At 411 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Velma, or near Water Valley, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Water Valley, Coffeeville, Velma, Scobey, Spearman, Bryant, Benwood, Tyson, Gums, Pine Valley, and Tillatoba.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 215 and 222.
