* Special Marine Warning for... Nearshore and Open waters from Willowick OH to Ripley NY...
* Until 1015 AM EDT.
* At 847 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 31 nm west of Geneva-On-The-Lake to near Fairport Harbor to near Willowick, moving east at 60 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include... Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ashtabula, Erie, and Conneaut.
