Special Weather Statement

Thick smoke from wildfires in Canada has blanketed portions of Southeast Michigan. This is causing visibilities to fluctuate between a half mile and a mile across the area. Low visibilities in the smoke will persist through the night. Drivers should exersice caution across the area. In addition to the low visibilities, air quality is also poor.
