Coastal erosion and perhaps nuisance flooding of low-lying areas will be possible with high tide due to the persistent onshore winds. Possible maximum water levels of between 1 and 2 ft above the normal highest tide line, including in and around Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. A brief break in winds and thus, elevated water levels occurs late today, but a second round of elevated water levels and persistent southerly winds are forecast with the arrival of yet another front late Thursday into Friday.
