* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, hot conditions with afternoon temperatures of 90 to 96 degrees. This will pose a moderate risk of heat-related illness. For the Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE...Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM PDT this evening. For the Wind Advisory, from 4 PM this afternoon to 1 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Patchy blowing dust may locally reduce visibilities. Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
