* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Walnut River at Arkansas City.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland is expected. Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 20.0 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
