* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 544 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain and flooding with multiple flooding reports received around Norfolk. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of a few hundredths of an inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
