For the following areas... Waters from Chincoteague VA to Parramore Island VA from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Fenwick Island DE to Chintoteague VA from 20 to 60 NM...

At 430 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 26 nm south of Chicken Bone to 30 nm southeast of Jackspot Reef to 16 nm southeast of Parking Lot, moving southeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
