* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 ft.

* WHERE...South facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwesterly swell looks to persist with the latest forecast guidance showing this will continue through Friday morning. This may get additional support from now formed Tropical Depression 17W, which will continue to strengthen over the next couple of days, as it lifts northward, away from the region.
